The Guardavalle dune extend over 18 hectares forming Nature Reserve IT9330108, acknowledged by Ministerial Decree on 03/04/2000 and by European Union Directive 92/43/ EEC.

The presence of rare di AMMOPHILA ARENARIA – MALCOLMIETALIA - BRACHYPODIETALIA- OLEA - CERATONIA make the landscape of the dunes truly unique.
